Men's Ministry

Objectives

<p>The Men Ministries in the General Council was conceived in 1971 to enhance fellowship among the menfolk of the church.<br><br><strong>OBJECTIVES:</strong><br><br>Their objectives include the following:<br>1. To walk daily in the spirit (Gal. 5:16)<br>2. To maintain Christian fellowship (Acts 2:42, Heb.10:25)<br>3. To serve in the house of God (Heb. 6:10, 2Tim. 2:20 to 21).<br>4. To tell others about Christ my Saviour (2Tim. 4:2)<br>5. To have a disciplined Christian home (Gen. 18:19)<br>6. To help others as I can (Gen. 6:2, I Tim. 6:17 to 19)<br>7. To defend my faith in the light of the gospel (I Pet. 3:15).<br>8. To bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:22 � 23).<br>9. To recognize my manly responsibilities (I Tim. 5:8).<br>10. To shun evil and pursue peace (Heb. 12:14)</p>

Operations

<p><strong>HISTORY/PURPOSE:</strong><br>The Men Ministries in the General Council was created in 1971 to enhance fellowship among the menfolk of the church for the purposes of. At the district level, Men�s Ministries in Lagos District began as Men�s Fellowship about 38 years ago (1984-2022) when she was carved out from the then Western District and was christened, Lagos Area.<br><br>1. Contributing effectively to the growth of the church and fellowship with one another by involving men in Evangelism.<br>2. Raising Men for Physical and Spiritual transformation.<br>3. Stabilizing Men in Christian Faith.<br>4. Creating Awareness of the Responsibilities of Men at National, District /Sectional, and Local Church.<br>5. Supporting genuine ministers and the ministry of the Word of God and others.<br>6. Raising Men of Integrity and Honest Reports.<br>7. Financing Men�s Ministries and Projects.<br>8.
